About Quests

So you have decided to take on a quest. Excellent.

In summary:

The Quest is to be completed at your choosing. Both the where and when. Within the pages of the issued Quest Passport (this contains the Quest) there maybe a variety of any of the following: questions to be answered, clues to follow, photographs to take, maps to read, riddles to solve, tasks to complete, information to find, items to gather. Whew.

The AIM: complete as much of the Quest Passport in the time given.

The Quest teams, as they navigate through the Quest area, will soon learn how well they can problem solve and work  together, interpret and combine their individual strengths, as well as make new discoveries, all the while being entertained.

The Quest can be as competitive or relaxed as you would like.

Cost:

Quest Package standard cost  – $22 per team (each team requires one package)
Example: 3 teams would need 3 packages and would cost $62
($20 * 3 packages + $2 delivery fee)

Discounts are available for 5 or more teams, just let us know when filling out an order form

(Note: All costs are in $NZD, include GST and a delivery fee)

Step 1: Preparation

Tick off the following:

• The quest area of interest has been chosen from the quest location options
• Joining you are:
  • friends,
  • family, or
  • colleagues
• The number of quest participants has been determined
• Teams have been formed (usually <5 participants per team)

Step 2: Ordering a Quest

Order a Quest via the menu link at the top of the page, or click here

You will need to enter the following:

• Contact details
• Chosen Quest Location
• Number of Quest Packages required
• Any additional information you want to tell us

Step 3: Delivery

Await receipt of the Quest Order. This will include:

• Quest instructions
• The Quest itself in the form of a Quest Passport
• Marking Direction
• If you want to participate:
  • DO NOT open the Quest Passport
  • DO read the instructions
• The invoice for payment

Step 4: Deciding when

Choose:

• The day
• Where to start from
• The start time
• The finish time
• Where to finish

Step 5: Quest Day

Gather the team(s) at the Quest location:

• Read out the instructions on what they are to do
• Issue each  participating Quest team with a Quest Package
• Ignore any questions
• Start the Quest
• See them at the finish time and place
• Find a winner by marking
